Foster the People is a rising band from LA who’s been recently featured on iTunes’ Single of the Week. I didn’t really pay attention to them until I saw them among the artists on indierockcafe.com. Their song, “Pumped up Kicks” sounds really catchy, but the lyrics are rather unsettling if you actually read them. You can download it for FREE here. Bits of it (maybe the drumbeats and scratchy rhythmic spoken/sung parts) reminded of Gorillaz’s “Feel Good.”
