Lady Gaga - Alejandro
I listened to this song for the first time a couple days ago and I was shocked by the intro! She used a really popular virtuoso violin piece Czardas by Vittorio Monti. Start at 0:55 on this video. Great great piece. Lady Gaga’s song is really catchy as well. It’s got the eurobeat thing going on. Apparently it was a hit on Hungarian charts, which would make sense since a czardas is a type of Hungarian dance. Anyway, this is my cool find for the day. I’m developing more and more respect for Lady Gaga as time goes on. And simultaneously liking the Ke$ha album more and more…. oh no!
