LISTEN to this song. It sounds similar to Parachute (and probably several other artists… Jon McLaughlin? I’ve been racking my brains over this… and I just found out it’s racking, not wracking). It’s easygoing guitary popness with a surprisingly good male voice. It took me by surprise because when I saw that this guy was 18, I assumed it’d be a really bad home recording I’d be listening to, but no! It’s polished, it’s well sung, and it’s not only listenable but also fairly repeatable. I also like “Something Real,” but I think “Without You” is the clear favorite here. ”Without You” is FREE on Struan’s purevolume site (title link). I’m excited to hear more songs in the future. Heh, I thought he looked a bit like Justin Bieber and then found a youtube video of him covering Justin Bieber’s song “Baby.” Thoughts?
