I first heard He Is We through purevolume. At the time their recordings were a little rough and instrumentation a little sparse, but you could tell they knew what they were doing. It was a little different, and I still haven’t been able to identify that element that sets this group apart. Anyway, this song, “Happily Ever After,” is one of my favorites by He Is We. They’ve polished their songs up quite a bit for their album, so you get to hear the complete final draft, which comes together really well.
